What we're about... |
Catch The Fire Christchurch is a church family that loves encountering our amazingly loving God. To see His radical love and power change our lives and the lives of those around us. We believe Jesus has a future and a purpose for EVERYONE!
Our desire is to encourage one another to go after all God has put in our hearts! We love partnering with the Holy Spirit to see Him move, not just on a Sunday but in ALL of life – in our families, workplaces, schools, universities, everywhere! Our prayer is simple... on earth as it is in Heaven! |
CATCH THE FIRE AUCKLAND

the journey
|
Towards the end of 2019 we started meeting with a team of people that had it on their hearts to plant Catch The Fire Christchurch. Little did we know then what 2020 would bring!
When New Zealand went into full nationwide lockdown we started meeting on Zoom. During this time we saw a real need for connection and encouragement so started inviting those we knew who weren't connected into a church to zoom in. Following lockdown we met in homes, and then we were blessed to have a time at Laidlaw College, and now we are so excited to be gathering in a church building - the Lamb of God Centre in Mairehau. We are excited about the way God is establishing this new church! |
